#12 - If You Can't Get Through It, You Can Listen To It

The mail just came, and I have an envelope from Ticketmaster! So I now officially have tickets to the September 15 Hanson show in Baltimore. Shweeeeeeet.

Speaking of Hanson... they've also done some of their own charitable work. They've recorded some songs with two children's choirs in Africa (one in South Africa and one in Mozambique). One of these songs, the Great Divide, was released as an iTunes exclusive (long before the most recent album came out), and the proceeds from this song go to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, South Africa. It's the largest AIDS hospital in the southern hemisphere.

Oh, and if you noticed the text in my foot tattoo (picture posted a few entries down) - it says "ngi ne themba" which means "I have hope" in Zulu. It's a lyric from Great Divide. :)
